This foundation is an adjustment, because your face must be properly moisturized (just as the site says)....but about a week in, you start to get the hang of it, and even the cheapest Jenny Craig instant-fixer-upper $19.99 foundation could NEVER tempt you to quite this facial indulgence! As someone who works in PR then goes to Crossfit after I can assure you, this make up stays well. It's a NATURAL looking coverage, with all the nourishing goodness your face needs. Oh and the awesome glass container? I recycle that bad boy for my home made toothpaste of baking soda, few drops of spearmint oil, tiny bit of salt, and water for consistency. (next empty container will be my new travel toothpaste container) I've slept in this and woke up with a BETTER looking complexion... what other make up does that?

Wow- I can't believe this works as make-up! That was my first thought the first time I applied this foundation to my skin. Now that my other PLO products (Bare face wash, toner and moisturizer) have evened the tone of my skin, this product matches perfectly. It is true that it doesn't 'cover up' but it definitely goes on smoothly and aids my other PLO products in continuing to even out my skin tone. My skin looks smooth and fresh! Instead of using the lid, I went to Cost Plus and bought a small round porcelain dish ($0.99) and I use this to create my foundation/water blend. I add just a few drops of water to the dish, add a small scoop of foundation, mix with my index finger and apply! If you get your ratio right, it will go on evenly and look very natural (no orange shades or foundation lines!) I haven't used it as a powder so I can't provide any insight there, but I will say if you are looking for a product that is healthy, fresh and natural looking, this is definitely a fantastic choice. And if you are like me and suffer from an autoimmune disease or are just looking to remove toxins from your beauty line, this is an amazing alternative to commercial products!
